Derek Sroufe has over 30 years of experience in the financial advisor, asset management and intermediary distribution businesses. He was licensed at 21 as a financial advisor in Michigan for a large retirement plan administrator before moving to AZ in 1997. In AZ he covered the South West for both Transamerica and Janus Henderson Investors. At both positions he’s taken bottom performing territories to top quartile territories in short order. He successfully raised over 7B in MF’s, ETF’s, SMA’s and private equity. He’s always had an all dirt territory of AZ & NM that gives him deep relationships with Wirehouses, Regionals, Independents & RIA’s. He has consulted and helped financial advisors make allocation decisions across wealth management and retirement plans for over 25 years. His VIP process has led him into many consultative areas like service model best practices, teams coaching and negotiating skills. He has his 6,7 & 63 and his Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS). Derek splits his time between AZ & WY right now and is very active outdoors. In his off time you will find him in the mountains hiking, mountain biking, hunting and fly fishing. His wife Laurel is very successful in financial services as well and passionate about endurance sports. They have three dogs: Zoey, Harvey & Whiskey.
